Hey guys

A friend of mine met at the university this year has now landed in London. She's involved in a cultural center and we discussed together to try to organize a gathering/stick seminar in London, at the beginning of the next year (february maybe). There's nothing decided yet, there're only discussions, but I wonder if there would be already some interest right there from you. Maybe we could organize the usual two days event, with teachings from english players (follow my eyes) and shows on the evenings.
I know that some players from the AFSTG would really like to visit the players whom ancestors burned Jeanne d'Arc, but I'd appreciate to check wether some english players would like to attend such an event in London.
Anyone?

Yes, I'm interested, and near London - and I'll send a heads-up PM to another nearby Stickist who may be interested.

By the way, I'm a beginner, but my Sticking got stuck - I got my Stick and practise setup and tutor books etc. all sorted out then ran out of time again. The prospect of this kind of event really gives people like me an impetus to get on with it again, so thanks for proposing it.

Yes, exactly. I guess that some years ago, i began to think about giving up, but there always has been a Stick seminar at some point to prevent me to take the wrong road!

Well guys, things become more precise. I may have information to share very soon, but I can already announce that my friend in London already rent a venue in London for three days. There'll be a one-day lesson with Jim Lampi and a second day of meeting/discussion. date is already booked, it will be from the 20th to 22nd of April 2012. Price will be around 40 pounds I think. But I will let you know all the details when I have them (so very soon). Stay tuned!
