I loved all the space in this piece. He's a fantastic singer too, wowzorz! Kind of late to the Lampi fan club as I only have North which has a different vibe, but I am all in! :D

More Jim! He was the first Stick and Stickist I ever saw. I think his lyrical style is very refined, you are rewarded by longer listening. I think he borrows from a poetic folk-blues style of spoken words to a melody. My favourite album is TV Weather, "in this London street market, one man's trash is another man's treasure..."

Young lions is a fantastic cd, one of the best stick record, it never leave the playlist in my ipod ;-)
i especially love this record because it's more a song collection than a pure stick music cd, even if there are only stick, voice and percussions.

And the last one from this gig. If someone knows that tune, please tell me what it is...

Post Re: Jim Lampi Live
Hi everyone, Dan Chapman has turned me on to this discussion. Thanks Dan. Thanks for the kind words everyone! Kit questions: When I can I use still the old BP8. Only the one sound. I can't find anything that works as well digitally. It is a bit old and noisy. Thank god for pot spray. I'm using an line 6 HD500 for most gigs. I have a SFX SP2 that I use in more band occasions. I use Roland KC350 amps for a backline when I can. Bruno, I'm looking forward to Toulon. It's too cold and wet here :-) I have lots new material so need to do some recording. Thanks again Jim

Nice to see you here Jim!

Any chance you're going to come visit the relatives in Novi again? ;)
