if you are asking your self either of these two questions-
" How can I get out of this rut?"
or
"Boy, I wish I could (find chords, know theory, write songs, try different arrangements) better?
then you could benefit from SKYPE-
I've found that maybe you have
a fear of commitment ( touchy subject around the holidays especially with ZALES diamonds putting a full court press on an already guilt laden subject).
I realize funds are tight and I promise if you ever had a bad teaching experience I won't reach through the screen and hit your hands with a ruler or fall asleep on you, wake up and say "don't look at the keys" [tru dat]
or
a fear of time commitment, - I'll work around your time zone or GMT, as I do now for my students as best as we can.
my answer is I will be offering SKYPE A LA CARTE-YOU choose how often, YOU pick the topic, YOU pick the time (hey, within reason) as many or as little as you want.
Just like taking your car in for an oil change or a tune up all the way to a new set of tires,
everyone needs a little boost now and then, even if it is affirmation that you are doing it right.
Stickists today are living in a golden age with YouTube videos and Greg and Steve's DVD's.
But as Rick Springfield said "you need the human touch", and SKYPE is a great way to convo without leaving the comfort of your living room. I used to have to drive 6 1/2 hours each way to attend the seminars but the comraderie and instant gratification of seeing how its done or bounce something off someone in real time was priceless. SKYPE offers a free vehicle with non travel time to all these benefits.
so, if you just want one lesson, great, a couple super, or like some of my students, sometimes you just need to talk about this new era playing the Stick brings into your life.
so I'm here to help, to guide, get you out of that rut, and most of all to have fun and give you a fresh perspecitve on things so you get back to loving that Stick the same day it came from UPS!
