Ah Lucky Oceans! A fellow pedal steeler who once played with the first iteration of the great Western Swing band "Asleep at the Wheel". I first met Lucky in 1973 and saw him play many times with the 'Wheel in San Francisco in those days. That should be an interesting combination w/2 very definitive sounding stringed instruments - Stick & Steel.

Lucky is an enigmatic musical figure, who's reached lot of people. I had the great fortune of playing with him for 10 years (drums) in The Zydecats , a Zydeco roots smorgasbord 5 piece.

Lucky is a very broad cat and loves to mix it up. He's still based in Perth WA, which has to be one of the most happening isolated musical communities in the world.
