Michael and I hit voodoo chile and Higher Ground in our first set - he was BADASS! The guy has played with Redbone, Nelson, you name it. Honored. We did a version of Warmth of the sun in the second set and I felt tears coming on hearing the steel on that tune, which is very dear to me. Johnstone nailed it.

The whole night was magic. Filled with music and comraderie. Got to hear my dear friend Michael Kollowitz play an amazing version of Steely's "Josie's". Truly a Stick hero if ever I had one. Per, Emmett, Don, Novi and Larry, Gary and Jay and Dean all played their hearts out . I will have a separate post and hopefully a short video with some excerpts of video.
