and a great lesson it was! Wow, big kudos to Randy who came up with the Grid'l! I love the name and the whole visual look. It really shows how the chords repeat all over the Touchboard. Lot of good thought went into this to produce a very fruitful outcome.

Randy, again my hats off to you on this innovative and easy to read chart.
Thanks for sharing with all of us, and having our sessions. together- fun and learning, who'd thunk!

take care,

Oceans - It's something I put together for my own use really. I'll try to add more tunings and Stick models as I get time.

Here's the link:

SICK! Whats the different shades for? I clicked on c maj 7 and saw the major 3rd a lil lighter and thought there may be a reason.

A neat little tool, just a bit of feedback:

It didn't initially work on my iPad, I usually keep JavaScript off.

Also, what shows up when selecting Maj7 appears to be Dom7 chords.

The different shades represent the root, third, fifth and seventh.

JavaScript should never be turned off in any browser. That's an outdated and never necessary caution.

Thanks for noticing the mislabeling. I'll correct the next time I look at the code.

On the contrary, it is critically important to some protections. Those protections are not necessarily mandatory for everyone, however (bear in mind that I am far from being a typical user).

The Grid'l app uses JavaScript extensively. I developed it for my own use and won't be writing multiple versions. Peace.
