Here is another request for this. Firefox won't log you in automatically since the page is only http. Then when you log in, stickist.com doesn't return you to the page you were on, but to the main page meaning you have to find your way back to where you wanted to be.

Maybe other don't run in to this, but since I exclusively use the rss feed, I do.

Thanks for looking into this.

Thanks!

Now can we have the links in the RSS feed point to the https URL? That way, when you click in an RSS message you will be taken to the https listing so you can be logged on automatically. The reason it is import to long on is because some images (and some other links?) can't be seen unless you log on. When you do log on seperatly, you aren't returned to the post you were looking at. All this can be solved now that we have https.

Thanks.

When I got the RSS notification of your reply, I clicked on it and it didn't take me to the https link. Actually, it was even harder this time to get back in order to reply, because when I went to log in and return to this page it logged me out. I had to log in, search for my posts, find this post and then reply.

Things are much worse now. Clicking on any link in the RSS feed takes you to the article but you are not logged in even if you type in https and reload. When you do log in, it takes you back to the index rather than the article you were trying to read. If you copy/paste the original URL (to get back to the article) you are logged out. Maybe no one else uses the RSS feed.

Hey Manny,

Things are now kind of hinky for the main login flow. Entering user ID and password gets you to that "thanks for logging in - taking you back" page as before, but now it spins for a while before giving you an "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR" in Chrome, and a similar generic error in Safari.

Went through all of the cache clearing, and even turned off QUIC in Chrome, without effect.

The only way that i could get here successfully was to click on "View new posts" before it stops spinning. Clicking the "Stickist.com" logo returned me to a logged-out state.

Front end stuff was never my thing - was a server-side / back end guy for years - so that's about all that I know at this point.

ETA: it appears to happen with any "returning you to blah" page. Right after hitting submit for this post, I got the same behavior on the "returning you to the post" page.
