Hi everyone, I'm just noticing that two of the categories on the forum aren't getting much activity, and maybe they are taking up a lot of real estate on the front page for not much reason, or maybe they just haven't found the right enthusiast yet. I'm speaking about the Websites and Venues categories in Stick-related. We seem to have the Websites one covered by the "Stickists Links" item on the front page. I don't know about the Venues one. It seemed like a good idea, but we're all musicians in our own right making a pretty wide variety of music, so maybe it's not necessary, or maybe it's too much of a concession to the instrument. what do you think?

Well, I just visited those two for the first time! I'm not sure why but they had NEVER caught my eye as somewhere to go before. I don't particularly object to them being there. Dohhhhhh, .......... I'm mr Thicky Thickson from Thicksville, I was just going to make a comment about 'what's Teflon supposed to mean as a category' and the penny just dropped.

Hi Greg, Considering the relatively small number of Stick players and the distances that separate us, the "Venues" category is bound to attract very little attention. I think there's a case for amalgamating it with the "Announcements" group. Cheers, Andy
