Dylan played at this music festival up in the very north of Sweden a bunch of years ago. 15 or 20..... In the middle of the summer. Middle of July. His gig was scheduled to start at 9 in the evening and Dylan´s tour manager showed up at the organisers office at half past 8.

Tour manager: -"Mr Dylan won´t start to play until it´s dark outside. Can´t see the stage lights otherwise and it´s still light as during the middle of the day. You must reschedule mr Dylan´s concert and let him play later when it´s dark. What time can I tell him that he´ll go on stage"?

The organiser: -"What about October....."??

Tour manager: -"Okay. It won´t get dark, right? Mr Dylan will start to play at 9....." And then he left..... Bob and his gang was not used to the midnight sun.... :lol: :lol:

That's a pretty cool story Greg. It just shows to go ya, these classic songs that seemingly come from nowhere, are in fact a lot of work, diligence, and of course some luck. Great find, thanks!
Some of the artists we grew up with didn't seem as popular (to me) back then as they are now. If they stand the test of time and are still growing in popularity, there has to be something more there.... The Dead, Dylan, et al. Really listening to the songs/music/lyrics now, I get it... more than I did way back then anyway :D
