That was a fun video to edit for sure. A long time ago I found it very helpful to video tape my performances. Not for the sound part of it but more to see how I looked and see if when performing i could improve things. ie clothes, posture, stand dont sit depending on what you are doing etc.. Anyway I decided that if the videos were good I would post them to a website and then possibly get more gigs. To make the videos better I started using more cameras then decide that imovie was not cutting it so decide to upgrade to final cut pro. I used an Ipad for the overhead shot , a cheap picture type camera for the side shot and fly by and the front camera was an older video camera. final cut syncs all the videos together with just a big hand clap sound . Way easier than IMOVE or an app I used to use called pinnacle on my ipad although it did a great job for 10 bucks. Some day Ill have to invest in some better cameras but these did the trick.

Im glad Kevin was there as it was great to share the opening with him and if you could have all been here that would have been cool too.

Im glad you all enjoyed the video and thanks for all the words of encouragement.

Ill certainly post a performance video sometime soon.

Rob

Rob, exceptional unboxing video! Your production was awesome, and I frankly don't see the need to do one now when mine comes (other than a quick one to show the blue color difference and maybe the GK-3 pickups). But if I do do one, I have this as my performance metric to judge what's a quality production. Good job! and having Kevin in your production is always a win/win!

Very nice video. The black one with these shorter inlays is the most beautifull railboard...of course it's a question of taste though...

The Panasonic HC-V770, or whatever replaces it, should be at the top of your list if you do not need “4K” resolution (most consumer equipment uses 3840x2160 for 4K, called UHD-1, but the DCI standard is 4096x2160).

Fuck Yeah..!!

Rob...Kevin....!

I just watched that and what has to be the coolest unboxing vid I've ever seen. The long sweep shot at the end was a great touch. Right now I'm trying not to think of what I can sell to get my own...

Thanks brothers .... :D
