Folks slam the 70's as a dark time in music. I completely disagree.
The Carpenters for instance, in that time, were kind of a joke to us mulletted Yes/Zep/Rush fans of that era.

But....
When you listen to those beautiful harmonies that only the Carpenters could provide, it gives you a lump in your throat....admit it.....

When I was young and cool (and mulleted), The Carpenters weren't cool. Now I'm not and they are and that's probably the correct way of things. :)
