Greg Howard Demo Video #2 Song 3 at 00:53
Chances are this has been asked and answered many times before, but anyway...
Can someone tell me the name and if there is a recording available of the 3rd tune on Greg Howard's demonstration video #2? It happens around 00:53 seconds. I quite like that one and would like to hear some more.
Thanks, Jon

Thanks, Jon Hi Jon, Thanks for your interest. That song is an original composition called "Sangre de Cristo", and it's from my CD Sol. Sol is available from SE, amazon, or direct from me. for some reason Musictoday doesn't seem to have it listed here: http://greghoward.shop.musictoday.com/If you'd like to order it direct please email me at stickist@aol.com

Thanks Greg. I'm listening to it right now in the mp3 section of your website. I'll definitely pick up the whole record. I currently play bass in a trio with a flamenco guitarist and a percussionist and would love to work in the stick. Of course I'll have to get one first... Seems like Sol should give me some appropriate inspiration.
Thanks, Jon

Thanks, Jon Hi Jon, Don't know if you've seen them yet, but there are two vids on youtube of other tracks from that CD: "Guitarresque" by Erich Ferstl: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w99q5zLpxs4and another original, "Goya's Dream" (thanks again, Olivier!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SKTrL4nFVSkI find the Stick's percussive attack perfect for this kind of groove.

Fantastic. Watching those has really given me some perspective on how the stick could work in certain playing situations in which I am involved. I particularly enjoyed watching "Goya's Dream." A lot of percussionists with whom I work incorporate the Cajon, so it was nice to hear Jan Wolfkamp playing it in addition to the Udu.
---Thanks Again, Jon
