As an occasional "space music" improviser and curious science layman I found this program quite interesting:

It's a huge news and, of course, the medias were talking about this everywhere in the world. I do have a small problem with event like this one. I believe the demonstration of Einstein's theory is strongly true. These sounds we hear...well...is it really what we can hear? Isn't a trick to make us believe that's the reality? I have some doubts about what's going on. Maybe I'm wrong. I prefer to wait a bit 'cause it can be a way to control people's mind again...like I've seen so many examples in general. I'm prudent with what we can see or hear today on discoverys. Some people believe (for example) in "flat earth"...sorry I don't. Some of them become agressive when you tell them you don't believe in flat earth...I don't care at all. But, my mind is always open to read or to see some videos. I just keep my eyes open.

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare (make noise) the glory of God,
and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Psalm 33:2 Praise the Lord with the harp;
Make melody to Him with an instrument of ten strings. (Railboard)
3 Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

Its big news in the physics and science world right now. Apparently going to open some big doors in the astrophysics world...........
........I have a theory.....

ALIENS!

It literally opens up the universe to us in way that only getting new perceptual lenses can do. Like when we first pointed radio telescopes, and infrared, and X-Ray telescopes at the sky and discovered that dust was blocking most of our view of the cool stuff. We just discovered a whole bunch of nearby galaxies hidden behind the dust of our own Milky Way spiral arms, and much closer to us then we had thought just last week!

As this next article points out, we are no longer blind to a lot of cool stuff going on all around us in the universe. And that sounds pretty cool to me!

No longer blind: Why that gravitational wave discovery is so heavy:

Quote:
First of all, detecting two colliding black holes is thrilling by itself — no one knew for sure if black holes actually merged together to create even more-massive black holes, but now there's physical proof. And there's the joy of finally having direct evidence for a phenomenon that was first predicted 100 years ago, using an instrument that was proposed 40 years ago.

But what is truly monumental about this detection is that it gives humanity the ability to see the universe in a totally new way, scientists said. The ability to directly detect gravitational waves — which are generated by the acceleration or deceleration of massive objects in space — has been compared to a deaf person suddenly gaining the ability to hear sound. An entirely new realm of information is now available.
