savants and she does qualify for that as far as a definition (see wiki below). Almost always musical savants play piano as she does so well, and some savants play other instruments, and a few that I have come across write scores. But it is rare to find a savant being able to play multiple instruments with such a good ear. To improvise a Frank Zappa solo with

is a universal code somewhere and in that circuit is the possibility for accessibility under special circumstances, (that means us not just Rachel); a way to bypass doubt and conditioning, even to bypass neuro- muscular sluggishness
