Thanks, Claire! Appreciate the updates.

Doing some Googling to see if the original source had updated, I found where my source got it, here:
http://fiftiesweb.com/dead/dead-people-2016/

They've updated to add the following since Christmas:

26 – Ricky Harris, Actor/Comedian – Ray in “Hard Rain” – age 54

26 – George S. Irving, Stage Actor – Oklahoma! (1943), Me and Juliet (1953) – age 94

27 – Carrie Fisher, Actress/Author – Princess Leia in “Star Wars” (1977) and four sequels – age 60

28 – Debbie Reynolds, Actress – Kathy Selden in “Singin’ in the Rain”, Mother of Carrie Fisher – age 84

31 – William Christopher, Actor – Father Mulcahy on TV show M*A*S*H – age 84

They're also using the term "Celebrity Deaths," so not strictly entertainers, and apparently not the less famous ones.

Well, that was 2016. Stan Lee and Betty White are still going strong. Best wishes going forward for your 2017!

Post Re: 2016 Entertainer Gone List
Wow. Sad to lose these folks, indeed. I am curious that John Glenn(and Nancy Reagan for that matter) made the "Entertainer Gone" list. Surely they deserve recognition for lives well lived though. As do many others that aren't considered entertainers. In regards to many of these folks, when they are with us, we think (and sometimes scoff) "these people have no grip on reality" and when they pass we are saddened that they have lost a literal grip on "our" reality.

Just the fact that we were aware of their names during their lifetimes does say something about their accomplishments on Earth. I don't think anyone but my family, close friends and you guys have ever heard of my name.

Mike
