This list is huge and unfortunate. Seems like this year was rough for a lot of people. I know I'll be arranging some of the music from the great talents we lost in 2016 to honor their memories.

Some politicians and celebrities as well. I probably should have called it "Famous People" instead of Entertainer. I took this from the Daily Kos, by the way, a lefty Democratic blog, so that's why you'll see the focus on not just entertainers. Nancy Reagan was not very entertaining either!

I already started on a couple. I took my own hero's death--Prince Rogers Nelson--pretty hard and Bowie and about 48 others on this list.

Here was my attempt to use the chords to Purple Rain and do something me-like. I stole the chords from Dean Kobayashi (Skydiver)'s cover of Purple Rain for NS/Stick. My version isn't very Sticky, though, and is piano/MIDI/bass.

Violet Reign (chords of Purple Rain: Bflat sus 2, Gminor7, F, and Eflat)

I hope that we have seen the last of this morbid Deadpool list for 2016 (except nobody is making predictions or placing bets). But I'm just saying--if Betty White goes, I'm burning this motherfricker down!

I believe Roger Waters once said that dictators are the ultimate rockstars, as depicted in the film "The Wall", as they can get up on stage and control the crowd in almost the same manner.
