Yes, this musician is awesome.
I wonder how this instrument is tuned? I don’t understand it but it seems it’s easy for piano players to do something with it quite quickly.

He's one of the keys players for Snarky Puppy, this guy can make anything sound angelic.

I've jammed on one at Oz Music in Ann Arbor, and as a piano player, I had no problem at all. The white and black keys of a piano are marked, as well as the location of the Cs.

http://musicnotation.org/wiki/instruments/harpejji/
Quote:
24 strings are tuned a whole step apart, for a four-octave range of open strings, plus 15 frets a half-step apart, for a total range of over 5 octaves (A0, by which they probably mean the lowest A on the piano, to A5). There is also a smaller model with 16 strings and 19 frets for a four-octave total range.

There's a virtual Harpeijji you can play at the bottom of this page here:

You could hand Cory Henry a kazoo and a triangle and he'd make music that would blow my mind. Dude is beyond belief.

Yeah, he's an absolutely phenomenal musician.

This performance of Lingus by Snarky Puppy is just fucking incredible, and it really showcases CH and drummer Larnell Lewis. CH's solo starting at around 4:18 is a jaw dropper.

I've heard of Snarky Puppy but knew nothing about them. I'm an instant huge fan of them, and especially Cory Henry. Wow, that was a superior solo. Superior Solo. (Han's cousin, on his mom's side.)

Going to check them out further now....Thanks!
