He's just a man. A very particular man...

Inspired by jazz guitarists and pianists in the '60s, then by John McLaughlin in the '70s, I wanted to be a "world class musician" (not a god). That early energy and struggle turned into the "free hands" tapping method, then into the "Stick" invention and design.

Musicianship may be a noble aspiration but it's still a human language. For me it turned into serving other musicians' aspirations (admittedly a small step toward god but also a business with a world wide customer base).

No one can be the complete "book of human nature" (my definition of a divine being). There are always pages, even whole chapters, missing. Those voids are what make us human.

If you're interested in my early Stick inspirations from the '80s, we offer two videos in stock:

- The complete "Soundboard" DVD remix from 1983 with four of my solos including Greensleeves, Back Yard, A Lotus on Irish Streams and Waltzing Matilda, also an interview by John Schneider and produced by Sal Guitarez.

- "Hands Across the Board" stereo VHS video cassette from 1987 (for those of you who still have an operating video cassette player) with seven of my solo song arrangements including Parallel Galaxy, Spain, Brazil, my own Back Yard, Somewhere and All the Things You Are, produced by Sal Guitarez and Alan Popkin.

I meant no disrespect to any ones ideology, religion or faith.
I believe we are all little gods, some bigger than others. The Hindu religion has many gods, Christians I think call them saints. Most of us are endowed with the power of creation, of Life, Death, Art, or Invention for the betterment of the world or human spirit, or the destruction of the same.
No person is perfect, although the world may be perfectly imperfect. Designed by the perfect designer, who designs imperfection.

Ps. I emailed Cambria to order the soundboard DVD. I do not have a VCR anymore. It's pretty simple to convert the VCR to DVD. I will order it and convert it myself, if need be, i will email Cambria about it .
