Chords of Orion ambient guitar
Bill Vencil has a great channel mixing ambient guitar instruction, performance, and pedal reviews. He's the Bob Ross of ambient guitar. https://youtu.be/W1QIAjV_E7s

"The Bob Ross of Ambient Guitar". You got that right. I guess it comes w/ the territory. He's informative but snooze-fest. Good thing for fast-forward. But some of us Stickists are into ambient so it's a valid resource. I'm always searching for the Hillage/Allen/Blake sound...

I like the Chords of Orion channel. I love ambient music so get lots of tips from Bill.

I find the guy pretty boring. I watch from time to time some videos, and I think he's often scratching the surface of the gear he's demoing.

Ambient is hard work. I'm suprised when someone likes something I just flipped off, then unimpressed with something I thought was trippin'. I can never figure what someone will, or will not, like. And the stuff that sends them screaming from the room is usually my faves.

Re: Chords of Orion ambient guitar
Yeah his gear reviews don't go deep, but I don't think they're intended to. His instructionals do better.
Makes me want to try ambient out. Need to see if I can get the gr33 pedal to work as a midi volume pedal
