Matías just posted a video of one of the tracks from his new CD "Verdadero Fruto". It's a "produced" video but shows a lot of how he played the tune in recording, including some great sub-techniques and ideas. Just... wow!  It's nice to see more and more professionnal recordings and videos within the "Stick scene". I'm not fond of this kind of music especially, but this recording seems to have something "special". Next order in SE, I'll have it in my bag  It would be cool if this guy (and some other talented players not very "exposed") could come here and say hi on Sticks forums.  Well, congrats to Mattias for this work, and thanks Greg for sharing

Well, congrats to Mattias for this work, and thanks Greg for sharing Hi Bruno, I'll suggest it to him to join us (you can, too!) His CD is full of great music, and unlike showoffs like me, he doesn't "overplay." it's all very musical. I especially like the Charlie Chaplin tune, which I recognized right away but couldn't place (first listen is usually "blind" I try not to know anything about the music when I pop it in for the first time). Thanks to Matías for sharing it with me. |
