Yeah! I stumbled on to some MatchSticks vids a short while ago. Excited because of proximity and musical like-mindedness, I tried contacting him via the email address on his website- but haven't got a reply. Great stuff though |

Wow, i totally love this guy ! What a warm personality ! The vocal harmonizer is brilliant and I love the way he shows his love for the stick. And it's also nice to actually hear people having the 'wow' effect when he explains the stick at the beginning of the video, really nice  Cheers, Bas |

Yes, he's great! That kind of gigs are the hardest to pull off; early morning, schlepping, playing and singing before lunch right under the office lights before a seated audience. Wow.... the guy handles it not only with the greatest routine but actually with a charming personal attitude. Calling in the temporary percussion section was good move. Holy MOses, just thinking about playing with a rough Bluesbreakers sound under those circumstances scares me and makes my stomach jumpy. He really did it well. |
