Man! 8-) What the Stick can do... This guy really has the chops and the groove. He can make corny cool; in between the Brubeck and the Super Mario was some shades of "Mission Impossible" :|. A ten string with a Stickup and a lot of miles on the fretboard...

i like the angle he is using and am curious if he is in Baritone Melody?

I am sure the Per will notice the Street Cube and how warm and wonderful it sounds,
no problem with the bass.

I met Roman at the Valls Stick Seminar (Catalunya) in 2002. At that time he was playing the craziest tuning I ever encountered.

Major thirds all across the instrument! Believe it or not :)

He's good!

Wow. This is really good. His tuning makes sense in listening back to it - none of the predictable 4thy sounding rhythms that make any city college level music student grind their teeth. It doesn't hurt to have a creative and forgiving percussionist along for the ride - I could listen to that all day.

Great tone too - crisp highs and pronounced lows throughout. It looks like he is not using the inverted 4th in the left hand, this guy is insane. I have to wonder at the people just perusing by.

Thanks for posting - Man, he is agile and tasteful in every aspect of his delivery, very inspiring.

Awesome! I really dig the percussionist's setup and the sound he's getting. Thanks for posting this.

Oh, does he use a Street Cube? Yes, indeed he does! And it sounds great. But this is a Stickup Stick while mine is a PASV4 and I like to boost the low mids; so that's probably why my SG-12 sounds way better on the Cube than my Grand. This was fun to hear, thanks for posting! I'm going to snatch that trick of using the hard-case as a CD rack (no Stick CD done here yet, but I'm noticing I'm loosing out on income not having one so making one will be high priority)

I'm constantly amazed with what people are doing with this instrument, and here's yet another great combo. The sound quality is great on this, thanks for putting it up Rob.

Roman Giza playing in "...Major thirds all across the instrument! ..."

I don't have a Stick yet. But seriously considering. I'm 70, with very modest illusions, and before I die I would just like to get to where I can make "... a lot of notes, all in the correct order...". So, I'm interested in anything that will simplify things. Came across the idea of 'major 3rds' tuning a while back (for guitar) and it makes such elegant sense to me. So I'm curious if there are others out there tuning their Stick strings on the major 3rd interval. Seems like major 3rds (4 frets/ semitones) and its inverse minor 6ths (8 frets/ semitones) would arrange nicely in a 'matched reciprocal' setup. Any thoughts?
