Light the "Fuze"...interviews with guitarist Dave Fiuczynski
This has got to be one of my all time favorite musicians. Too bad he doesn't play the Stick. I love how his mind works. Enjoy if you can and check out some of his other music on youtube. It is great how free he is with how his thought process works.

Thanks for posting these, I'm digging his playing more and more.
I actually saw him at the Melbourne Recital Centre last year with Jack deJohnette's Jack Johnson show..! I'll be sure to check this out of todays tube surfing.

Hey Marty. You can guess what I went to bed thinking of last night....... An SG 12 with melody side fretless. Looks like FUZE is working his magic on us, wouldn't you say.?!

Re: Light the "Fuze"...interviews with guitarist Dave Fiuczy
Right on Stickrad! So glad you enjoyed the post and have already had the opportunity to enjoy the musician. I first saw him with Screaming Headless Torsos, then a few years ago in Erie, Pa along with bassist Tony Grey, and drummer David Throckmorton. I think those cats are worth checking out as well. The fretless work and microtonal stuff is very exciting to me. The microtonal chordings took me a while to get used to. The first time I heard him play that stuff I think he had only had that particular shorter scale frettless neck a short while and actually thought he just needed more practice with the neck. You know, like he was having trouble with his intonation or something. Boy did I have a lot to learn about what his music was all about.
Thanks for the interest, and go for that frettless SG12!!!
Mike
