Hi, everyone. Michael Hedges would have been 60 today. I'm very grateful for his music which has been a big inspiration for me. This is his last recorded performance, just two weeks before his tragic and untimely death. This is the full two hour show. My guitar teacher used to know him from the days when they used to play at the Varsity Theater on University Ave in Palo Alto. His death was truly a tragedy. I always wonder what kind of music he would have made were he still alive. We'll never know. |

Thanks Eric, and happy new year from Australia. I've always been a big fan of Michael Hedges , who would have thought , 60 today , time flies. I'll have time later today to watch the show. I travel a fair bit with work, my Alto STICK comes with me and more recently a poster of Michael Hedges I bought years ago , some inspiration to be on the wall whilst I practice on the ship.
