I feel many rock bands would be more interesting if they could pull out a stick for a tune and do a hot improv plus left hand bass n chords thing like Giancarlo. |

pascal glanvilles thumb video is pretty amazing as are pretty much all of his videos. pascal gutman's BOOTSTICK video completely rocks! jason brock's youtube videos are really inspiring too: death on a train comes to mind; he has a very haunting tone and a very light touch. i am also very moved by osk films stick work he uses standard tuning with heavy strings and a stickup summertime from andy salvanos is also very inspiring to me the matchsticks "wind cries mary " got me wanting to buy a stick really bad when i heard it now i have one! of all the best tones i think pascal glanville has the best melody tone, on his graphite grand with the pasv4 pickup love that archtop sound he gets, it's like a cross between an archtop and a classical guitar! |
