Hey guys, thanks for the very nice comments. Luc found me on message before I saw this, as I've been kind of absent from the forum in recent times.

Confession #1, I probably shouldn't say this, but that track was on the scrap heap for the final CD cut until the last minute. As you hear it, it's a one-take-wonder that I later tried to re-create using more structure and a perfect tape delay (oxy moron?), but of course it didn't work (it never works).

Confession #2, it's not clever EQ (maybe just a little), I actually do use a bit of filtering to get that fretless effect from time to time; Jim Lampi is the only Stick player I know of who uses such effects extensively.

One final note on sound in general. I use very modest gear, I think you can save a lot of money (and stress) by working really hard with what you have.
