I have a question for you Greg. When I gave my instructions about my own stick I said to Uta that I didn't want a MIDI set up on it. The reason was really simple. I had in the past some guitar MIDI set up and I found that it was not good...for the trigger I mean...always late response...

My question: is the trigger better with this tapping technique on the stick?

Used to listen to Vollenweider at the Health Food restaurant where I worked in Vegas as a cook before they closed many years later. Their Health Food STORE is still open now though. It's called Rainbow's End. We sold Green Goddess sandwiches among other things.

When I was in Korea there was a guy who studied with Lionel Hampton on Marimba. His name is Baek Jin Woo. He played every week at a jazz bar. I lived near another guy who taught melodic percussion in his studio. He had a lot of students. I just love vibraphone especially. Clean execution in your video. We need more of you guys.
