Post subject:  Mimi Fox "When the Saints Go Marching In"

Really interesting solo guitar take on an old classic. I get inspired when I see someone with such a thorough mastery of an instrument and the jazz vocabulary.

I saw her performing at the NAMM show a couple years ago and was pretty impressed. She has a voice of her own and that's rare these days. She's not just a fine player - she's a stylist.

It's always a joy to watch someone so in control of an instrument, regardless which type of music they play. I'm not a huge jazz fan, but performances like this never fail to impress and inspire me.
