| Post subject: | Any Stickists going to Meshuggah show in Dallas? |
Greetings all, just putting a feeler out to see if any other Stickists in the Tex/Ark/ LA area will be going to see Meshuggah in Dallas in June. Thought it would be cool to meet up and talk Stick stuff before or after the show.. I'm a big prog metal fan, not big on growl vocals, but the drummer in me makes an exception where Tomas Haake's playing is concerned, and I love Fredrik Thordendal's guitar playing as well. |

I won't be able to make the Umphrey's McGee show, and to be honest, your post was the first I had heard of them. I did some digging, and checked'em out, nice stuff. Also, check out a group called The Werks. And an associative line of thought brings to mind The Mermen, I never get tired of listening to them.. |
