Aaron Copland
Not to be morose, but when I die, I hope I get to go out listening to Aaron Copeland's Symphony #3. And if I can't hear the whole thing, I'll take the 4th movement. Thank you very much.

Re: Aaron Copland
Beautiful for sure. A neighbor of mine had a heart attack and died a couple of weeks ago. While he was having sex. I can't tell if that's the worst or best way to go. For me I'd rather be listening to something like that Copland. Good call.

-Eric I can't help but feel bad for the partner involved.

Copland was a regular visitor at Interlochen. This photo was taken in 1970 of Mr Copland enjoying an ice cream cone at the "Melody Freeze". This was a place that, back in the day, we thought had the best chocolate shakes ever made.

Re: Aaron Copland
This thread could go in a million different directions....here are three:
1) I wouldn't mind dying having sex...so long as I got to orgasm. Can you imagine the frustration in spending the afterlife almost.... 2) If I could choose I want to die listening to John Coltrane "A Love Supreme", Ornette Coleman "Lonley Woman" or Frank Zappa "Watermelon in Easter Hay". This would depend on how I would meet my demise. 3) At my funeral everybody must sit through some Philip Glass and some selections from Frank Zappa "Jazz from Hell". Tough shit. It is my funeral.
