You can buy the Greg Howard songbook from Stick Enterprises. Also, his Stick Book vol. 1 instructional book has a couple of pieces as well...

Jay,
just to blow you mind a little more- NO OVERDUBS, ALL LIVE 500+ total hours straight into a DAT the result is organic flowing tunes, high level writing and concepts and very listenable because both hands were played together on his PolyCarb!

As Austin Powers would say, 'Yeah Baby!"

It is one of the seminal albums. Greg has a songbook with the tunes transcribed in StaffTab(tm), in baritone melody and soon in other tunings.

You came along at a great time!
enjoy,
Dave Brosky

"Stick Figures" is truly the coming out party for the Stick. It encompasses literally every single aspect of the Stick and Free Hands to the nth degree.

If you're a Stickist and you DON'T own or heard this entire album from start to finish, you are simply doing it wrong.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I'm glad a recording I made 22 years ago still resonates so strongly with Stick players today.

It was made on a 10-string polycarbonate (#2757, which JRJ now owns) in Baritone Melody tuning.

There are charts for "Sunday" and "Charmed Life" in The Stick Book, volume 1 and for "Adrift", "Morning Song", "Softly She Walks" and "Blue Ridge" in the Greg Howard Songbook.

The charts for the last two are complete transcriptions, including solos.

One of THE greatest works created on a stick.

"water on the moon" is another. Head and shoulders above what most stick players produce, we need more like this,

Totally agree! Water on the Moon was the first stick album I ever bought, and it's the one that made me seriously contemplate buying a stick.

Thanks, Brett and Steven,

I'm glad you're still digging Water on the Moon as well. If you want the original WOTM experience as a download, it's available on BandCamp as one uninterrupted track:
