A drummer I've been jamming with introduced me to some of their music recently. Really nice music. Cool name. Wish I could have seen them live with they were together. |

I have all their CDs and was really into them when they are active. I never got to see them live, though. A very interesting group. -Eric |

As you know, Flim is world class bassist Jimmy Johnson. I'm a huge fan of his work in general; he's incredibly inspiring as a bassist and a musician. Here's a cool clip of some of the best bassists in the world jamming on Stanley Clark's School Days; Jimmy's solo starts at 9:30. He holds his own, and some (me included) might even say he stole the show with his very "musical" (as opposed to "muscular") performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdRG-hD5ZKo /rick |
