Re: Free Hands Oblique Strategies 2014
Again Tim, I should have emailed you personally about my objection. Your phrase, "as is", seems to imply that you can't match your iPhone video to my audio or that you don't have time to re-edit. Much of the video shows a faster Latin song (Brazil) which doesn't match the sound of my slower first improv.
I may be overly sensitive as a performer but it seems disorienting to me. So yes, I'd like it deleted as you suggest or re-edited if possible. Thanks, Emmett.

I have removed the video from YouTube. I will take another try at the editing and will send it to you for your approval prior to posting anything else.
Sorry for not checking with you first, my apologies.

Thanks Tim, for taking it down, and no apology is needed. I was happy to have my music used as the score to your inspiration. I just feel that fingers (also posture and gesture) are an important part of a Stick performance, the sensation being visual as well as audial - a striving for excellence (always striving).

Thanks Tim, for aligning my fingers with the notes. Feels much better now. My harmonic wanderings seem to go together nicely with your broad perspective on the FHA event. Glad to be part of your inspiration.

Emmett, I'm glad to see that you liked the edited version. It has been rearrange a little but it still keeps the important part in my mind which is a reminder of the things that I want to incorporate into my playing over the next year. I can only imagine poor Dan pouring over so much footage and trying make sense of it all must be a very large task. Thanks, Tim
