Wow, that was quite something! And yeah, imagine what he could do with an NS!
Every time I see the comments on a video like this, I am further confirmed in my low hopes for the future of humanity. Man, how people love to ruin a great video of a fantastic talent with their ignorant drivel, loaded with platitudes and superlatives, exultation and excrement, epiphanies and expletives. They miss the point entirely - and prove in the process that they will never rise beyond the level of staying in their own bedroom, dressed in dirty PJ's and eating Ramen noodles.
That was harsh, wasn't it? I intend no offense to my friends and acquaintances who play guitar, many of whom are at the level I like to call "artists" (not what TV vocal game shows call artists). But every one of us knows plenty of guitarists exactly like the people I refer to here. I saw 200 of them at the Holdsworth concert this past September. A lot of them looked like they hadn't seen daylight in 5 years...a woman, even longer. "The Plucking Dead."

Ha! I didn't read all of the comments, I just thought his playing style was rather creative and that some of the NS people on here might dig it.

Edit: I just noticed Nick Beggs' comment "No Stick needed"
Maybe he don't "need" a Stick but I still think he should try one.

He'd probably have fun with an NS, but his style (that particular piece anyway) I think looks more comfortable on a 4-string with the string spacing and open chords. Reminds me of Kaki King a bit. :D

And yea, Luc, you tempted me to check the comments and I regret it.

Hedges really has a lot to answer for... :D

But actually, I like his playing and the sound of this on a 4-string... good dynamics too. Michael Manring has covered most of this ground in the last 30 years or so, and the influence here is obvious too.
