Re: Pretty unique percussionist
See and they say Polyvinyl chloride is toxic, yet every one of these crazy contraptions of which YouTube is brimming with has PVC pipe. I think Polyvinyl chloride stirs creativity and opens up a manufacturing option for these creative individuals who played with Tinkertoys, Erector Sets, and Construct All 1000, 1500, &2000 units!
Although concept is valid, the set is for showing off during a performance- moving 4 feet in each direction to get the "forsaken unused up stroke" is a little excessive. He could have placed them closer, not sat in the middle, and had more maximization of energy and effort with the same result. We surely would not play a Stick where the strings are 4 foot apart? and took 4 u-hauls to get to a gig, nor would we throw our arms as far out and away as possible from our body and then bring them back in an attempt to play the next adjacent note one fret away?
Alternatively, show me a person who can juggle a live chainsaw, a bowling ball and a raw egg,
now that's entertainment and my good friend Joe the Juggler! for reals!
on the other hand…. NIH has a differing perspective….
