Post Awesome Things
This is a thread that should be as chaotic as possible. Just post things you think are awesome.

I have been obsessing on things that were awesome when I was young, specifically things from MTV.

I didn't think much about it then, but looking back, these things were pretty awesome. Good pop. The Pretenders:

yeah, baby.

Ok, one more: My wife came home from a conference yesterday. It was the first full night's sleep I've had since she left.

I was having this very discussion with my teenaged daughter yesterday. along the MTV front, I mentioned two shows in particular, Saturday night, Headbangers Ball, and Sunday nights 120 minutes.

It's a shame MTV doesn't play videos anymore.

Cool thread!

From recently getting my 10-string rosewood (my first Stick): An awesome experience: I love learning and tapping away on this instrument, and working toward "improvisational compositions" (I have a long ways to go, but I love every step of the way). Along these lines: seeing my kids' faces light up when they watched me unbox the Stick on 12/29/14. (A couple of future Stickists, I am sure.)

More generally speaking: Ubuntu Linux is awesome.

I went for a motorcycle ride yesterday. In January. Little kids and their pretty young moms were waving at me. Gotta love South Carolina 8-)

Post Re: Awesome Things
I think this thread is awesome, really made me think about positive things in my life!

In addition to that, it's awesome that it's not been frigidly cold the past couple weeks. Really makes my bike trek to school everyday more pleasant.

Stickist is awesome too, where would I be without the Stickist??

(Thanks for Stickist, Manny)

I am rediscovering one of my favorite, if not my favorite, bands of all time - Medeski, Martin and Wood, all over again. . Instru-musical music.

Medeski,Martin and Wood are great, one of the best concerts I've ever been to...

One awesome thing involving the Chapman Stick is seeing Bob Culbertson in San Francisco playing in Ghirardelli Square... It made me rediscover the Stick...

Anything by Mikael Åkerfeldt is awesome. I love this album as much as any of the more "prog mello-death" albums that came before it.

...and "Nerd Poker:D&D with Brian Posehn and Friends" is pretty great, if you're a weirdo like me.
