Re: The Stick Community
Over 50 + Chapman Stick = Miracle Cure For: Alzheimers and Dementia and Arthritis, and ...
Talk to your doctor to make sure your heart is strong enough for playing the Stick.
Side effects include: euphoria, light headedness, emotional palpitations, instantaneous visualizations and audioalizations, and an oveall sense of well-being.
Should you experience a jam session lasting more than 4 hours, contact your doctor right away as this could lead to: permanent damage to your concept of reality blandness.
You should not play the Stick if you have had episodes of: thinking inside the box, conformity, or a belief system of strict conformance to centuries old classical music paradigms (ie: if it isn't played on a steinway grand piano it isn't music), or a general sense of musical snobishness.

Re: The Stick Community
Yeah, this is a great community for musicians. I know that I've learned tons hanging out here and I certainly want to attend some Stick camps, etc. at some point.

Re: The Stick Community
I've said it before, Stickist is the only place where people make any sense online. The friends I've made on this forum have had a direct and positive influence on my development as a Stickist life in general.
