Post Re: Books
Yep. Corum stuff was killer. God, it's been almost 30 years since I read that stuff. I wonder if it would stand the test of time. Anyone read it recently?

"Satan: His Psychotherapy and Cure by the Unfortunate Dr. Kassler," by Jeremy Levin.

Highly recommended, if you can find it.

Post Re: Books
I have read the Moorcock books recently, and I think the powerful parts that originally impacted me were replaced by the subtler portions that I can appreciate as an adult.

In a different vein, I think Theodore Sturgeon is required for anyone to call themselves human.

Awesome, thanks for the reflection, Sagehalo. I have a list of books I will tackle when I begin reading in earnest again, Moorcock's stuff is high on the list.

Others include Robert E. Howard's Conan stuff, and "The Demolished Man," a book which has stared me in the face for roughly two years, since Dave Brosky sent it to me in the mail. It occupies a perch on a high pedestal on my desk, reminding me that reading happens not solely on a backlit computer monitor, but when you tell the world to take a hike and actually open the pages of a book.

On a different note, I highly recommend Brian Jacques' "Redwall" series for those who have kids. Great stuff, I really enjoyed them all.

If I could go a little off topic and recommend a novel , that would be
"parnassus on wheels" by Christopher Morley
Written in 1917

It's one of the best sellers ,here, in Israel for more than two year now since it was translated to Hebrew.
Check it out and its (kind of) sequel "the haunted bookshop"

Post Re: Books
My last girlfriend was into a book called
Children of the Matrix - David Icke
I now have a new girlfriend.

Lately, I'm into Pablo Escobar movies.
I'm surprised that nobody tried to kill him.
It seems that criminals get away with everything.
