Re: Happy birthday Greg Howard
I have followed Greg's work since the day I got the stick, about 13 years ago. Owning all his CDs and book, I can't thank him enough for what he does for the stick community. Happy BD GREG

Re: Happy birthday Greg Howard
Greg is a cool cat, many happy returns. one suggestion - grow your hair. you got a good head of it, and there's too many bald Stickists already. Rob, i always drank beer w/ cake. now i dont drink, so i just eat cake.

Re: Happy birthday Greg Howard
Greg, it has been a privilege to know and work with you over these many years. I can only wish for many more years of "making hay while the sun shines", which is forever.
Yuta and I send our birthday greetings, also our love to your beautiful Family.

Never met Greg, but I feel I already know him from reading his posts, listening to his music and just seeing how much he loves what he does... Happy birthday!

Robstafarian wrote: Greg taught me a lesson not long after my birthday, so I will return the favor: do not eat cake and drink beer on the same day. Challenge accepted! +1 to everything Gene said. And Greg, I've learned I tolerate brandy much better in some homemade eggnog Edit: It was BOURBON that wasn't my cup of tea. Oops. Well one of those "B" alcohols that sits in a barrel at one point or another

Re: Happy birthday Greg Howard
Happy Birthday Mr. Hap-py Tap-ping! ( sung by the one and only Marilyn Monroe) +1 to Gene, Andy and all the other stellar posters above, Greg's tireless efforts to constantly improve, educate and provide help to this wonderful community have been consistently exponential since I first met him over 15 years ago. Most of the ones we take for granted are under the radar because he merely presents them as opposed to tooting his own horn. Here are some of his innovations: Bartione Melody tuning, the StepAbout ™, StaffTab ™, KeyMaps ™ as well as one of the finest compilations of music information and proper technique in his Free Hands DVD. He accrurately transcribed his songs to showcase and explain the varied styles behind them on many levels in his songbook. Plus his Stick Book +CD has techiniques, and practice pieces- some based on his own compositions, which are well laid out and with photos. Enjoy your B Day, ( Beer not Bourbon!- where'd all this Bourbon stuff come from?) Dave B 'DBro"
