Cool!

I've been an admirer of your work/art.
In fact when I first started to investigate looping on the internet, your site was the one that came up constantly.
Lots of great insights from you on the Mobius forums too.
And you were the inspiration for me to pursue the stick in the first place!

Great to hear your tap guitar chops applied to The Stick. Somehow, you achieve a watery sound overall - very pleasant. Also, I hear the very old with the new, ancient ethnic instrumental sounds and patterns that would work their way well into the prog rock grab-bag.

I like the hard L/R stereo applied to Stick. Interesting melodic intervals too. Hard to imagine it wasn't done live playing the whole fretboard (bass and melody sides at once). With those interlocking notes, it seems it would actually have been easier to record the whole song live, but you describe it as recorded with interdependent hands, which I assume means you played with both hands on one group of strings separately, then overdubbed your two hands on the other side.

It just doesn't sound like that to my ears and I'm thinking, with just a little "FingerSticking" (if that's not already happening) you could play it live on stage.

Thanks for the nice comments!
It indeed was played both hands at once (bass and melody).
By "interdependent" I meant that there are no separate independent parts going on at once - both hands rely on each other to keep the rhythm going. I guess "FingerSticking" is a suitable term.

I just can't play it from start to finish in one take without mistakes, so I recorded in sections - several takes to get the whole song.
