Post Yesterday, Beatles , Tipton theft
Hello.
Heres another Tiprip.....crap sound, sorry; iphone recording...dont play too loud or else....

For those of you who may be interested......I've been thinking about doing a tutorial version of this tune, where I take the parts, separate them, slow them down and repeat, reapeat, repeat.....enough so that a new player may be able to decipher the chord structure. I asked David Tipton if he minded, ( i wanted to make sure hes cool with it) cause its his cover.......he says go for it.

If theres enough interest, for doods that want to learn a song,I'll do it....if not screw it....
Please post below if you want to learn it, and I'll see what I can come up with...
I'm not a teacher, and would never have the minerals to call myself one, but I can show you how to play a tune if you are new and dont know where to start....

cheers,
Ger Mafobe

Kev-C,
Excellent performance! I really enjoyed it and yes, I think a deconstruction tutorial would be a great help to everyone, especially insight into David Tipton's wonderful arrangement style.

hey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind was not on Dave's original YT! :D very funny!
If you start making mounds out of mashed potatoes we are going to send someone up to check on you!

nice version and a great post,
Dave B "DBro"

Really great performance Kevin, something that I aspire to. Please do the deconstruction tutorial. I will keep my tinfoil hat on just in case ;)
Cheers,
Simon

Kev, great version of Yesterday! I'd love to see it deconstructed and broke down into chunks. It's also extremely awesome that Tipton and DBro are both so good with the cover tunes, and so good about sharing them, and thank you all for the stealing and sharing. You all rock, even when you're jazzing!

(I could really stand to make up better verbs for the non-rockers than "jazzing"...)
