Post Yesterday chorus breakdown
Here's the chorus and chord charts....again not concentrating on melody side too much. Hard to separate the parts after you learn a tune...as you will see from the vid. Have a laugh at my expense.

The next video I'll do later will show the verse and the difference between the 10 and 12 string chords....

Again, Thank David Tipton....

Not yet anyways. I'm trying to concentrate this thread on this tune alone, and how it can be improved from a learning standpoint...

cheers,
Soupy Sales

Hi Kev.

Thanks so much for sharing and your generosity, as well as acknowledging DT. One thing if I may, I would suggest you avoid repeated notes with the same finger where ever humanly possible. I'm always ranting about this, but that sound is really like a saxophone player playing scales in a staccato fashion.

You have so much musicality and you're really comfortable with that song and the instrument overall. It's just when I see anyone doing that typewriter repeated finger thing, it looks like position playing to me.

Live Long and Prosper.

Ya Konrad, I see what you're saying...sometimes it's unavoidable though and is often dictated by where you're next note is going to be placed and by what finger.
I do employ the method you're talking about....sometimes. I will endevour to be more conscious about it in the future.......
Ongoing journey eh.....

cheers me' old....

Arggggghh , Nice series Kev, the Pirate Ship has crap bandwidth so youtube is out , but now I'm home I can start digesting it. Last time I played "yesterday " was in a classical guitar trio in 1983, now I feel old, Great Job and Thanks. :D
