Re: Is this Robertson? Is it???
What can I say, I am Canadian so I will probably sound like I am... (We have a lot of really cool musicians, so it's okay...) heh Thanks for checking out the video and listening to the tune, even if my playing peels the paint on your walls... hahaha
Yeah, I like gain, and I was going for something that "rocked" so that meant a grungy bass side too; it was fun to put together and represents another step towards getting a handle on this instrument. Plus, I like rock and jamming a rock thing is pretty natural for me. And... it was fun.
Bass side distortion sounds cool to me, but I gotta say, the melody side is not quite where I would like it. Bass side was a Line6 Podxt, easy as pie to dial in something I liked. The Melody side was the Roland GR-55. I may dial the gain back a bit, as I really don't like a searing distortion at all... Trial and error indeed...
The Final Countdown would be funny as hell on the Stick, maybe once I get a bit better I will tackle it!

Hell, I am just happy someone listened/ watched and was kind enough to post a few words! Haha I am proudly Canadian, so if my music yields a sonic demographic that's cool!
