Steve A Power Stick Tet Metheny "Lone Jack" LBJF 2015
Great new video up of Steve Adelson and his Power Stick Tet with amazing luminaries- Gregoire Maret on Harmonica, MIno Cinelu on percussion/triangle who recorded with PMG and performed with Sting, Nydia "Liberty" Mata, and The Ucci Brothers (Chieli Minucci and Frank Bellucci) and Bryon Carrot on Vibes.
Other luminaries this year were Mark Egan, bassist extraordinaire, and Omar Hakim drummer for Sting, and the one and only Rachel Z who plays with his purpleness Prince.
Here's the Stick Tet performing Pat Metheny's tune "Lone Jack". This is great example of the Stick integrating and setting the groove for a finely honed musical group, plus some great ensemble playing and soloing!

Outstanding. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the opening comments regarding your commitment to growing the LB Music festival.
Along with totally nailing that track. Nailing it!

I didn't see the harmonica coming! Cool! Love to see Stick with a whole band. Thought that was a joke about the triangle solo but damn, man can jam the triangle.

A little clarification might be in order. These bandmates are major players The harmonica player is Gregoire Maret. He recently toured with Pat Metheny for two years. The triangle dude is Mino Cinelu one of the greatest percussionists on the planet. Credits Include Sting, Herbie Hancock...... Guitarist Chieli Minucci is founder of Special EFX Nydia toured with Laura Nyro Frank the drummer and Bryan on vibes are the best I'm honored to share the stage with these incredible musicians. Also great friends

That was fabulous, loved the whole approach. Musicianship was outstanding, it sounded so tight like you've all been practicing the tune together for years! Not a small feat considering the PM song! Well done SA, and thanks for putting this up Dbro!
