New live tracks
Hey guys, I finally uploaded a few song extracts from a jam I had a while back, Sample 1 and Sample 2 on my myspace page. Totally improvised stuff, Stick with various effects, keys, guitar and drums. Some of it ended up being pretty cruisy, like Sample 1, some of it more heavy and Crimson-ish, like Sample 2 from 2:00 onwards. (Ignore the first 1:59, pretty boring!) Hoping to go back to the studio soon to develop the ideas further and record them properly, especially some of the metric modulation sections and grooves we fell into later on. Enjoy! http://www.myspace.com/evilstickplayerCheers, EG

Re: New live tracks
Thanks Greg! I was running mono through the Digitech BNX-3 for that session, which isn't ideal for melody, but ended up sounding ok for bass. I think for me, that session highlighted how great the Stick is for use with foot-modulated effects, you can really synchronise your playing and articulation with the effect level very well. Still need more practice at it though. Cheers, EG

Re: New live tracks
I do have to ask - where are the Stick players that are mainly concentrating on bass work and groove stuff? Lets hear what you guys are up to! EG "Not good enough to be a soloist" Levis
