Hi Steve,

Nicely done. Your time in the left hand is really getting strong, and you kept your grove going, even through a couple of questionable moments in the melody. That's a great skill to develop, especially when you play with other musicians, but even as a soloist, and it shows great discipline on your part.

Thanks for posting. Looking forward to more.

Your progress shows a real determination on your part, and I'm enjoying watching your skills grow. I really liked your arrangement here. Keep up the great work!

Thanks guys!

This coming from both of you means A LOT! Its true amazing how much easier it is to play stick when your left hand is moving! Greg you are the master, none of this wouldn't have been possible without your guidance! Anyway, back to the stick!

Very nice. Gooooooood bass line.
I suggest when you accidentally make the melody minorish, go with it and orchestrate this variation. Listen to The Bad Plus' version of Iron Man, where they alter the melody and harmony through different modes.

Next challenge for you---add the horns---simultaneously of course.
It can be done.

Steve- nice going! you just keep getting better, and rolling a bass line like that on a highly recognizable song is commendable.

I hope Steve A. ( Bill E Shrs) didn't mean the piccolo trumpet solo, but the part which fits between lyrics on the chorus.
if you are in the Key of A at the chorus ( original chorus key)- here it is in thirds/ fourths lowest note first, higher note second
f#-a; e-g natural; d-f#; b-e; a-d // e-g natural; d-f#; a-d; [c#-e] which overlaps the next lyric word "wet" ..."beneath the blue suburban skies"... editors note: this is right from the Beatle's complete scores by Hal Leonard which is an amazing resource with ALL parts transcribed.

whew, I guess skype would have been easier. hope it helps,
