I have been working on an ambitious project since September: play my absolute favorite Scarlatti sonata K. 386 on the chapman stick. The problem was, the piece is already sufficiently difficult on the harpsichord and playing it on the stick would require a lot of time and effort.
Nonetheless, I stopped all other music projects I was working on and began arranging the piece for the stick; it took about 3 months I think to play it OK at a very slow tempo. January onwards I began stepping up the tempo to be able to play it OK at its presto tempo.
The final product is this video we shot at the Princeton University Chapel (audio is pre-recorded, although the performance in the video is real, so that we could sync audio with video)
I can send out the scans of the notation and fingering to those who may be interested in playing it. Though the fingering is done for parallel 4ths tuning.

Wow, absolutely love it! I greatly enjoy the Scarlatti sonatas, and you really did this one justice... obviously a lot of hard work was put into it and you've been able to arrive at a free, effortless seeming performance. Very inspiring!
