Post Playing with distortion
This week on Tap Theory I'm putting forward part 1 of a 2 parter on distortion. Part 1 addresses the history and physics of the effect, as well as some technique concepts to help you adjust to the differences in playing with a clean tone vs. a distorted one.

No exercises with this one, as really you can just throw some dirt on your signal and try these ideas out with any old piece of music you know, but there's plenty more where this came from over at http://www.patreon.com/jgoldbergmusic. Enjoy!
