Hi Again
I'm moving on to taking out the Grand instead of the Alto, the size difference is quite a challenge.
But I'm really loving the Grand , and have played two nights in row this week.
Apart from "winning " the night on crowd votes and getting a paid 1 hour slot what was really cool was the saxophone.
This guy was up for playing with with anyone and came armed with 2 saxophones and a clarinet.
I played an instrumental start to Mercy Mercy Me by Marvin Gaye and then just relaxed a bit on the right hand whilst he got to work. Most fun I've had for quite a while.
Guru Steve A turned me on to the I, VI, II V and RH polychords so I just had a good time with that whist he played his Alto Sax, eventually landing back to the stick melody and and a finish .
The guy in blue was more subdued , but solid timing....
