I just made it up tonight, I'm ripping apart some Martino stuff, and stole heavily. Thanks, Rob. And I was having some troubles thinking up a title for it... (So, sandwich references it is...) It's a starting point, but I suppose I need some more sections and a better intro and outro for it... Rough sketch.

Anyways, there's some different stuff in there, and I tried to make up a solo for it even! I thought I'd share so y'all could have a laugh, maybe you can hear some of my influences in there, possibly a bit of my guitar stuff coming through...

Not into sandwiches, eh?

That's okay, not everybody likes 'em and it's likely the same with compositions about sandwiches. Still, give it a listen, and I am thinking that your mind will drift and you may find yourself craving a trip to the local deli...

Awww, c'mon guys! How can you resist a tune that scores sandwiches? Tough crowd... :D

So, there is a feel to it that I just can't place, like a Bossa Nova/Latin thing or something. And a jazz flavor as well. Also, it sounds like one of the classic jazz standards that I've never heard before. "But this is one of my original compositions, Steve!" Exactly! It sounds like a standard I've just not heard before (which is a large group to be sure!).

Is this it? Snippet of a larger piece or self-contained and done? I liked it! This could be something longer.

Eat a Sandwich, it'll come to you hahaha :D

Thanks for the kind words and cool compliments! It's just a "thing" I made up, kind of hard to really peg down a genre on solo Stick stuff isn't it? I'd say rock or maybe a jazz fusion thing would be the end result, at this point I suppose it's just a "thing".

Maybe a new genre, "sandwich music".

Very interesting, Scott. I particularly like the dissonance on the last couple notes on the melody side. I guess it is the 4th measure and the 12th measure?(and then repeating later on). Makes me think more of a wrap and some kind of soup! :D

I would say it is a keeper.

It tastes Italian. Needs provolone. Definitely not enough cheese.
